Viewing of messages on the message board is open to everyone but using it to post messages requires registration - messages may be posted only after the registration has been approved (usually within 24 hours)

Registering for the message board
Where a small ‘?’ sign appears in the registration page, clicking it will bring up some help on that topic.
1. Choose a username – it can be your own name or an alias. A name can only be allowed once; if you want to use the name Brian, I’m sorry but I got there first! You could be BrianB etc. To check if your choice is available, type it in the appropriate box and click ‘available’; this will tell you if you can use it.
2. Choose a password – this should be easier as, even if someone else has already chosen it, they will have a different username.
3. When you have typed in both username and password, enter your e-mail address. Take care to enter this correctly as your confirmation e-mail will be sent to the address you give.
4. These are the only three fields that are compulsory but there are others you can complete if you wish. Remember, all information you give (except your e-mail address) is available to others but only to members.
The ‘Instant Messaging’ option is disabled so leave that set as ‘none’.
‘Homepage URL and ‘Signature’ should be left blank.
After registration, you will be able to alter your profile easily by logging on, clicking on your own name and then pressing ‘edit’.
