The Chess Valley area, just to the north of Little Chalfont, has many footpaths making it an ideal place for walking.

Visitors to the area can park in Westwood Park. However, the park is very busy at weekends and parking may be difficult. The station car-park (10 minutes away) usually has spaces at weekends but can be full on weekdays.

Those coming by train should use Chiltern Railways or London Underground Metropolitan line and get off at Chalfont & Latimer station.
