10th July was official Beatles day with celebrations in Liverpool.
To mark the occasion, Chalfont Art & Framing was lucky enough to secure the attendance of Tom Murray, Beatles & Royal photographer.
A marvellous turnout saw a picture valued at $5000 donated to the children’s charity shed@thepark to be auctioned later this year.
Tom spoke about the experience of working with the Beatles during what has now been known as the ‘Mad Day Out ‘collection consisting of 23 images.
Later a prize draw was held & Mrs Siggs of Amersham won her photo to be taken by Tom on the camera he used in 1968 to film the Beatles & still uses.
The picture shows Tom Murray with Ian Morris, proprietor of Chalfont Art & Framing and children from Shed@thepark.
